Did a quick install and I must say it looks promising definitely a blog engine to keep an eye on... for plugins check http://is.gd/4GXX
The fact that there is already a respectable number of plugins means Habari has managed to attract developpers which is the first step for any successful open source project.
There are some distinguishing features :
- Uses prepared statements throughout to protect against SQL injection attacks (use of PDO)
- Media silos to directly access various ways of media storage, like Flickr, Viddler, or the server's filesystem
- Multiple sites on one installation
